Bay Area Association of Pediatric Hematology/Oncology Nurses
On May 3rd BAPHON hosted our Spring CE event at the Kingfish Restaurant in San Mateo. We were thrilled to have Pam Simon, RN, MSN, CPNP, CPON speak to us about Adolescent & Young Adult (AYA) Cancer Care. She is the NP and Program Manager for the Stanford Adolescent & Young Adult Program. The program was established to provide a holistic approach for adolescents and young adults (ages 15-29) with all types of cancer to help meet the needs of this population, often not met in a pediatric hospital.
